Baseball Grand Slam Club

GT Baseball experienced a resurgence in 2019 as the Jackets finished the regular season as ACC Coastal Division champions, overall second place in the league and entered the NCAA Tournament as the overall No. 3 seed.

Coach Danny Hall was named the ACC Coach of the Year for the fourth time for a program that boasts 32 NCAA Tournament appearances, nine ACC Championships, three trips to the College World Series, and numerous Major League alumni.

Your Investment in GT Baseball

Donors to the Grand Slam Club played an integral role in making last year's growth possible, and your continued support will help us build on that success. The GT Baseball Grand Slam Club has set an annual fundraising goal of starting *$100,000 through June 30, 2020, to enhance our annual current operations and to maintain a championship caliber program. Some examples of how these funds could be used in this giving year are:

  • Upgraded Technology
  • Ability to Charter
  • Enhanced Nutrition

Areas of Need

 Upgraded technology:
Modern technologies that provide instant analytic feedback to improve player performance & physical conditioning
Ability to Charter:
The ability to charter air travel for select trips will lessen the number of classes that are missed when needed to fly commercially.
Enhanced Nutrition:
In addition to standard meal plans, the NCAA now allows more flexibility for frequent supplemental meals than in the past.

Letter from the Coach

"Reaching our goal will ensure our ability to deliver a championship-caliber experience to all of our student-athletes.
Your support will earn benefits unique to GT Baseball, and will provide the resources necessary to develop young men who compete at their highest potential during their time at Tech.
Thank you for your consideration, and Go Jackets!"
