History: She is a Past National President and Fellow of the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society (HIMSS); a founder and former Chairman of the Center for Healthcare Information Management; a former Board Member of the Business School at Georgia Tech and the Wallace H. Coulter School of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory. 

She is a frequent key note speaker at industry conferences, is often quoted in healthcare publications and has written numerous articles for healthcare professional journals. She has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and on National Public Radio. She has served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at University of Alabama at Birmingham.
